Martin and Nicky have been training and competing in dog agility for over 12 years, competing with a variety of dogs at all levels. Martin is a grade 7 handler and has competed at Crufts.
Agility is a great way to work your dog, improve your relationship with your dog and have fun.
We cater for total beginners through to already competing handlers and dogs.
And it is for all breeds! Agility is not just for collies, we have a terrier cross at grade 7, who has just qualified for the YKC Agility Dog of the Year at Crufts 2023!

Yes! We adjust what we do to reflect the age of your dog. Puppies will do foundation work and no jumps until they are at least 1 year to ensure no damage is done before their growth plates are closed.
Older dogs can jump lower heights or even try hoopers where there is no jumping.
No but it helps. A good recall is useful as it means we don't spend ages getting your dog back - but don't worry we train in a secure fenced area so they can't run off.
Most dogs do. It is important to find a reward they love and then they enjoy the reward which makes agility fun for them.
If it is your first ever lesson don't worry we will make it fun and suitable for your dog, we will introduce the tunnel as most dogs love that, we may do a small jump and explain how we will build up your and your dogs confidence and skills. We will not put dogs over the dog walk, a frame or seasaw until they have the skills and abilities. We want you and your dog to have fun but in a safe way.
We offer one to one lessons, for half an hour, or longer! Want to train with your friends, you can book a group lesson for up to 4 dogs for an hour (or longer if there are more of you!)
